tranny questions
« on: 10 March 2008, 13:12 »
hi
i thought of moving from 4 speed to 5 speed on my mk2 driver.
will any 020 box, even from mk3, fit straight in?

and i saw on some site, apart from the ring and pinion ratio which is i guess the final drive, there's an "overall" ratio. so what does that mean?

chreers

yeh 020 box should fit fine, dont hold me to that but im sure a 1,6 box can be used on a git so i ASSUME you cn go the other way.
