I have a good friend in Holland who helps me out getting stuff from ebay.de.

The biggest problem you will have with .de sellers is that they don't normally take Paypal - they want a bank transfer.  These are free to make if you're in the Euro zone, but in the UK they will cost you money to make (and the staff in your bank will look at you as if you've peed on the counter when you ask to make an international transfer).

This means for cheap item's you're a bit stuffed.  The kind of things I've got through this guy is stuff like Golf1 GTI remote oil coolers, that just don't come up on .co.uk.

My man in Holland can normally help out with most VAG items, as the sellers will normally ship at a flat rate across continental Europe, but often not to the UK.  If there are any key items you're after PM me and I'll hook you up.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

Just use Google to translate:

http://www.google.co.uk/language_tools?hl=en

Either copy the URL of the ebay.de page into that Google page and it will give you a translation of the whole page, or copy the text into the box to give you a translation of just the text.

Easy really, and you can use it to translate your messages to sellers too.

I just bought some G60 side repeater emblems off a guy on German ebay, no problems at all, he was a power seller though and took paypal. Apologies if you already know this, but you can log into ebay.de with your ebay.co.uk username and password, i.e. no need to set up a new account. Plus if you buy something, it will be in your ebay.co.uk account so you can then try and pay via paypal and you're on the .co.uk sites it will take you to UK paypal, if you get my drift. The ebay item and description will still be in German mind. I spent ages trying to translate all the ebay.de bits when I logged in and I never had to. I bought the emblems with buy it now, got onto my uk ebay account and paid for it on there, I even left feedback through the uk site.
......now officially dubless.
