well thats good, then, another question, cos mine faces out of one of my lower vents, is it possible that i'll suck water from it into the engine? as that probably wouldnt be so good for it!!!!!

If theres a gap between between the induction cone and cold feed tube then it can't suck any water in

I'm running the BMC which is direct feed but the tube has two (slight) bends as it goes from the intake vent to the induction filter so I can't see water making it up there.

Even the direct feed ones couldn't suck up enough water unless the end of the cold feed hose got submerged in water. Think of it as a cheap water injection system

Well I'm going to a k&n panel filter rather than induction. and it bends round twice so i guess it should be ok then, i was just being a worrier again!!! Thanks for all the help though, and bearing with the stupid questions haha
