Mk3 rear lights ... cant find any I like ...

iv seen them, didnt like them, looked cheepo to me.....not my bag, but i never liked those crystal front fogs things either

oh boney, my mate at the main dealer can hook me up with the annie front fogs etc, he already got me the smoked indicators (12 quid to me for the pair!!!!! bargain)  and the two smoked toe eye covers (15 quid)  the fogs i need to make a decision, either 25 quid each for smoked lenses to convert mine that i have now to smoked (the lenses can be removed incase they get broken ) or 80 quid each for the full fog light complete , and thats with my discount! basically he can get me them whenever i have decided how i want to play it...

jus picked up some clear smoked ones for the wings too, didnt want full black as im not keen..

also been to my bodyshop re a re paint

sounds like the dealer likes you kells....My lights came from 4 different sources (and luckily bargain prices as they were oddments!)... and i gave up on the fogs... I could only find 1 smoked cover! (and that was in germany!) and it took 4 months to find all the pieces!            but I have found a genuine mk3.5 electric door mirror (only 1 at the mo but for £15 delivered )

yeah the the lads in partsd dept at VW dealer in leeds like me  good lads they are, and i love going their as it gives me a excuse to check out the girl i have my eye on their (the one whos name iv now got haha)

I prefer the red and black ones on the black golf further up this thread...
i think the main prob with the darker smoked ones is as it says..."not the ones fitted to the vr6" and most people wouldn't know the difference... its like fitting the driver boot spoiler the scene people do because its slighty different and you wouldnt spot it unless you were a scener!   does that make sence??
