urm the one you posted will do the job but you won't have all the functions of VAG COM

you can either find a cracked version of buy yourself a genuine pukka lead which is well worth the money :afro:

Well.....

i got the cable and the software, plug it in, select the right port (only one that works, com3 for me), click test, says everything is ok.

Go to autoscan for a mk4 golf.....

goes to find controler......

NOTHING!!!

tried 2 diff laptops, 3 diff cars :S still fook all...

hmmmm it works fine for me mate.  not quite sure what u can do eccept swear a bit but i reckon you will have already done that. :smiley:

that cable is different to the one that bought but it does say it works.  Have u tried using the vag com that comes on the disc with the cable? maybe try using that one?  u usin a crack?

the twin usb version off the ross tech website is the one i have.

yeah i have installed the one from the disk, and erm yep im using crack :S
