Dvd Sat nav Mfd2 question

What do i need if i want the Sat nav to Play Dvd's?? anyone done this?. cheers  :smiley:

You need one of these http://www.satnavsystems.com/shopexd.asp?id=310 and a portable dvd player.
I think the worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades. Especially if your teammates are bad guessers.

Or get a Kenwood Hard drive based satnav system :wink:

Or the RNS510 with the canbus bypass

Hurdy, hi...i dont really know much about the RNS510 and i will have one in my R32...whats can bus system?? Are different like software versions for the head unit?

The canbus system links the car to the satnav system and so if you lose a signal it references the canbus system to keep your satnav accurate (ie through tunnels). It also links with the DVD set up to prevent you using a video DVD (or TV) whilst on the move. :nerd:

you dont need anything extra to play DVDs on the RNS 510, when the car is still
