radiator grills
« on: 02 March 2008, 19:57 »
I have a small rad leak in the bottom right corner, looks like a friggin stone went through it. Has anyone ever fitted that diagonal mesh grill stuff before from carspares/autozone. i was thinking of putting it behind the black fins in the bottom of the bumper to stop it happening again when i replace rad. what would be the best way if fixing it..??....is there enough plastic to get a screw fixing into or could i plastic weld it..???

id take the bumper off, cut the stuff to shape and form it around where you want it, with the bits that fold over behind the bumper use a few globs of fibreglass or gripfill to hold it on, worked a treat back in my fiesta days :D
