1997 p reg VW Golf Gti for sale 85,000 miles, 5 door 8 valve Mystic Blue. I have owned it since 2000. New car brings about sale. £1200 ono.

Being a mk2 lad im not so clued up on mk3's   ... does that sound good/bad? Obviously alot would depend on the condition of the car etc but does that mileage sound about right?

thanks

I picked up my mk3 1.4 for £750. It has pretty much nothing wrong with it. It is a P reg with 90000. Can let you knoq that in the history it has had quite a lot of new parts fitted; exhaust, engine parts like cambelt and oil filter, etc. Don't think it ever failed MOT.

I guess you can sort use this an indication. Just trying to help a m8 out ;)

Like boney said, if it is in good nick, then go for it. Ask about problems with it though; you want to know every single problem, little or big. Ohh and don't forget to barter with it, I try £1000 to start, they just might say ... yeah!

Good luck with it all m8!

LL ;)
