Cam belt and water pump

Well the mk4 has just done 65k and defiantly in need of a Cam belt change, so i went to a local garage and got a quote for the belt change and water pump to be done at the same time.

£215

This a good price or am i being taken for a mug?

regardless its booked in because it needs doing! (just so i know not to go there next time)

ya i fink thats good i did mine myself but i bought a cambelt kit n water pump from VW and that cost £150 just for parts.

mine cost me £325 although i did get all the pulleys and alternator belt done as well

mine cost £220 just make sure you are getting genuine parts
