Horns, Need reply asap
« on: 29 February 2008, 13:20 »
Fitting vents for the front, and the horn is in the way, i fighted for 10mins just now to get it off and cut up my arm to get it out. Now when i sound the horn is a more of a sweaky horn, as i believe there is two horns.

My question is, will this pas the mot a.ok as there still is a horn, just not as powerful as before?

Yeah, i hope so, because im going to give it a go! lol.

I suppose i could rewire it to another part of the bay, but that is a lot of ache for extra horn power :/

Try wiggling the top chrome plate thing, maybe something is touching that and changing the noise..

or buy some air horns!!!

I have cuts up my arm where i was fighting with it, so i wiggled it, and it came off in my hand,!!!so yeah! No more horn. Im totaly fed up of trying to fit those vents today, so i reckon i willjust extend the wires and fit it elsewhere....

there is two horns mikester, just looked at mine.
the second 1 is located down the side of the bumper(inside obviously) about 6" up frm the bottom,on the same corner as the other horn.u cn see it from above if you dont have an airbox, look down the hole behind the headlight.
1 must b hi note and 1 low note,b why yours sounds odd now!lol!
