Liking that, easy to remove?

You have to twist the original badge to the left to take it out. Its a pain and i broke the clips of mine. Took me around 2min to remove. However, the new one was easy to put in - it just clips in and then you can rotate to centre position.
Im not really bothered about snapping the clips of the original badge as i wount be using it anymore and if i ever do need it again its just £13 from the dealers so nothing to worry about.

It looks good against the black grill.

Wonder what it would look like against a reflex silver car?
Bye Bye Edition 30

Ye im going to get the Back badge done aswell but because that is attached to the boot release its more delicate. So, i've asked my local VW dealers to do it for me. They charging me £30.

The front one i got done at a local car cosmetic place. The guy's an ex-VW technician who left to start his own workshop so hes very reliable. Even my local VW dealer uses him when hes very busy and it was my local dealer who recommended him. Hes based over in Skippers Lane Industrial Estate, Middlesbrough.

He charged me £20 to paint the front badge.

and just a note.....i went for the MATT PAINT option and NOT SATIN PAINT as i wanted the dull look which is non-shiney
which i think looks better because the "VW" is still noticeable but not in your face which gives the grill more of a presence and moves the focus onto the red-lipstick and GTI badge.......
