That's the last car I would think about buying after rolling a motor

Glad to hear you're OK though and big credit to you for turning the work round so quick to get the car sorted & running again :afro:

Look forward to updates

Damn man that's a harsh one, good thing that you're uninjured but I must say that's some fast work on swapping everything over and having it rolling already in a new car.

Thanks for the comments guys. Its only a shell and I'm happy to be moving onto another project!

Wouldn't have done it before Edition38 without everyone's help. PlymouthCityDubs lot helped me a lot, especially my mate Stu and Dan at DevonDubShack was kind enough to give me space to do it.

Debating a wrap, but I'd like to spray it first. Be a better base for wrapping and I'd like some nice paint for once :D

Think I'll keep it OEM+ looking on the outside, although a respray in a different color is tempting. I don't want smoothing this time. Other thing is, tempted by a custom roof although a nice new mohair would be nice still.

Picked up electric rear window setup today from down in Cornwall (thanks Rmachines), just need the dash switch and I'll be fitting all that soon. Like I said, a few niggly bits; need to get front bumper sat proper as intercooler sits a lil different on this one, new air vent, things like that.

Car is totalled. Rolled it off the motorway on Wednesday 22nd August:

Back end kicked out under heavy braking and that was that. I was fine, apart from being stung by nettles.

Now if I recall correctly you weren't running a rear compensator.

Am I right?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
