Epic failure for Alex!!!

Glad you didn't get ran over though! :afro:

I'm sure i mentioned something about how low your petrol was back in Portsmouth? Are you one of these that loves to run in the red?

Running in the red can be fun if its RPM and not fuel or temp!

Same, although it wasnt freezing, just rainging heavily and i stupidly was wearing a t shirt and shorts  :embarassed:  I figured it was better then getting mushed up if a car hit mine tho

I actually thought it was a must not a choice, but just read If you feel vulnerable standing on the hard shoulder, get back in your car via the left-hand side and lock the doors from HERE. I know i'd feel more vulnerable sat in the car!

Certainly wouldn't like a job like a mobile tyre fitter or similar where you have to work on the hard shoulder! As sh*t like this happens

Yeah, didn't think it was that low lol.

Patrol said they couldn't because of insurance reasons, then said Section this, Act that and went on but I had stopped listening :D

It was mega unsafe lol, I was fearing for my car when I saw a f**k off lorry barreling past. They are much quicker when you aren't moving :D

Was obviously giving you the riot act on running out of fuel on the motorway then.

Yeah, being stranded on a motorway is not nice and after seeing what can happen when a vehicle driven by someone half asleep veers off into a stranded car ....

I have only been in this situation once and standing on the other side of the barrier for 30 mins in sub zero temperatures is not fun!

Yeah I guess lol.

I was only waiting 5mins, so all good. First thing I did was pop the bonnet and check it out and when I seen nothing obviously wrong and thought about it all I thought fuel lol.

Nah I don't live in the red lol, usually fill it right up and once it goes under a quarter and hits the red I fill it up. I'm starting to fill it up less now, half a tank at a time. Rear seats are coming out too - I'm weight saving and not really meaning to lol.

Ahh thanks bud, I'm glad me and the car are OK! The lorries are scary as f**k :D

 made me laugh for some reason

:D I was lucky I guess, warm and dry!

6450...  if you had said a more realistic price you might have pulled it off
