I'm going to also find out from the Vr6 OC boys what they think of the two and if they can recommend anything better. I doubt it so i think i will be going for them also in a coupld of months!

have to say after having a go in a tt im stuck over what engine conversion to do meself! vr or 20vt? lol
did you have to sort engine mounts etc with yours...?
(need to have another read through the whole thread again as i cant remember most of it too many things keep changing!)
lol, always changing the damn thing
drops straight in using mk3 16v engine mounting brackets. they bolt straight to the 20vt block. you can use the 8v mounts i think, but the engine fouls the bay a little. i think its the cam cover hitting the master cylinder or something on that side of the bay.
i love boost now and the 20vt's are good engines to roll with.
