All Ed30s - built!

TO be honest even if they sell more than the 1500 its still going to be a sort after car.

Dealers can only sell limited numbers, so if you take in to account accidants thefts, then each year the numbers will decrease slightly.

Plus not everyone will sell theres at the same time.



If you think about the Mark 4 tdi 150, they are like rocking horse doo daa, and they sold alot more than 1500.

How do u know i work for vw, 

Basiclly each dealer has an allocation of Ed 30 they can order for customers depending on size of the dealership.

At the moment there are loads built about to be built and just ordered.

They are still accepting orders, ergo You can still order an edition 30.

As to numbers, its impossible to say.

Simple question... does the ED30 come with full-leather or 50/50.
I’m having a debate with VWUK at the mo, and everyone is giving different answers... any clues???

The Edition 30 only comes in 50/50 it is not available with Full Leather.

This is Gospel according to VW UK.

I can assure all that the Edition 30 as it stands now is not going to have full leather as an option.

VeeDub_sales - I'm not expecting you to know everything but if VW had done some professional market research I'm confident that they would have discovered that the Interlagos cloth option is very greatly valued by those customers who buy into the iconic status of the GTI.

Ok take my vw hat off.

The Edition 30 is a limited edition car, not mass produced, it has individually styling, over and above the Gti.

If they change it, it no longer becomes Individual as so will be less sort after.

Vw dont want this, so thats why it wont change, personnally as has been discussed i think it will carry on for a bit or untill the supply out streches demand.

i.e Less people buy and the cars are built and "left on the shelf", they dont want this, at that point it will stop being produced, and then they will switch tooling to the Mark 6.

But dont expect it anytime soon.

I understand that.

But i work in Vw sales, and this Production Year  we as a dealer can order or supply to Customers, no matter how many want to buy them.

2 Cars, yes thats right 2, thats it.

So this is a descion that has been taken by much higher in the chain, believe me when i say there is no possible way to know the amount of cars that will be sold, but i dont think it will be much more than have been sold already.

We as a dealer just cant get them.

I think we should take note of the fact that the Ed30 is badged "EDITION 30" and NOT "LIMITED EDITION 30".
