just wondered what everyone thought about about 'the golf mags' new name and its new content. Featuring lots of other dubs like boras, polos etc. ::)

 I buy both pvw and the golf, but I prefer the golf because it obviously features more of the early golfs that im interested in. It may seem selfish but im not sure I want to share my mag with the big boys! :P

Anyway just wondered what your thoughts are. Im thinking from now on i only need to buy 1 of the 2 mags  :-\

I think I'm with you on this Vix, it's nice to have a magazine solely for the golf but I'm sure there is only so much you can write about them without it getting stale, but what do I know I can't even find anyone that stocks the mag  :(

whilst its nice to have a mag that just looks after us, I get loads of good ideas an stuff from reading not just about golfs but similar vdubs where mods and other bits can be transferred over to the golf. As long as it doesn't lose any of the gold content I'm all for it having a bit extra. :)

out of the 2 golf tops it for me (not that im biased because of my prize etc) but it is a better mag, yeah i dont mind the content featuring other cars in the vw range as like someone said earlier theres only so much you can write about a 'golf' as long as the mag stays with top notch features atc and dosnt get up its own @rse like the other one in all for it, plus if you email/ring the right peeps you get to chat in person with em, has any one got the latest golf mag yet???? i know we did a mass right of 'emails' to pvw to get us a site of the month in there mag but i also had a word with 'the golf' boys and wondered wether theyed managed to get us in theres!! should be out now (too subcribers) and the rest of us on friday i think i aint found a copy yet!!

yeh its out now gaz. we're not sight of the month tho 'designa dubs' got it this month.

Get yourself a copy its all about the 'dirty diesel' this month  ;) :D (im just after a bite from s11eps!)

PVW is great for checking out the VW scene as a whole, but I always felt we had something a bit special with The Golf magazine being dedicated to the one car. It would be a shame to see it lose some of its uniqueness (is that a word?)
Does anyone know when PVW is due out?
