this is the one i bought with 5 wires it needs to conect to the 3 wires from the switch unit and the 2 from the moter.
But i dont know which wire goes on to which if any one has done this before a picture would be super or if any one know which wires which in the car or how i could find out??

Using the factory holes in the inner door (no need to drill). Please tell me you have the "brain" and loom for the kit too. That motor is auxillary, its not really supposed to be used on its own, although you still can - its kind of missing the point and you'll need to stick a relay, switch and little bit of wiring in just to make it operate.

Do you currently have that type of universal central locking, or is it the factory VW stuff?

Sorry you got the wrong end of the stick! it is wiring in the drivers door. Because the factory fited central locking switch has brocken so am replacing the switch and moter with this one unit it was descust in a prevous post that i made. and i do not know what wire connect to the new unit?

Oh, ok - you really should have replied on there to make it clearer  erm, I've never dealt with the factory vacuum stuff. Not sure why Lap recommended the 5 wire unit if theres only two wires available.

IIRC on those units, the blue / green wires are for 12v and GND and basically pop the solenoid, connect them one way, it opens, reverse the polarity, it closes. You mentioned the pump on your vacuum system wasn't working - so why aren't you simply replacing the whole lot? I can't remember which of the remaining wires does what.

Right let me start again
I found that the swich in the door was snaped so

in the door there i two things for the locking
1. at the bottem of the door there is a white moter that open and closes the locks this has 2 wires
2. there is a swich unit that looks like the vacum lock on the other doors this has 3 wires
the new 5 wire unit replaces both of these the proble is i dont know what wire connects where???
