instalation guide to fitting carbs?

Is there a how to guide in fitting carbs to a 8v gti as i am bit confused as to what happens to various parts of the fuel system and how to plump it up correctly so to speak?

thanks for that however i am after the side draght twin carb set up replacing the intake manifold etc.
