well im doing the conversion anyhow, so ballocks to it, im 31 now so insurance for me isnt a problem to be honest, ill be looking towards the end of the year when i do it as i will have some free time and so will by VW technician pal from next door (small world eh :))

i would have been happy to leave the golf as it is but i really like the old dear, and all i get is good words said about it, even he said he aint seen many mk 3s as straight as mine, bearing in mind mine is a early Mk 3 (aug 1993)

will be pretty cool with the 20vt installed with the OE+ look going on

i use adrian flux for my modified jap car, i had to fill out a huge documentary for it with loads of pics etc, valued at 6.5k, costs me 350 a year with 11 years NCB and protected NCB, its currently on lock up cover as its stored so that only cost 53 quid a year, if i want to use it i have to ring them and change it back as lock up cover insures it against everything but been driven on the public highway

I would love to do this anyways. But maybe i will just get a mk3 or 4 with one already in it. As it sounds like a big hole for money.

yep same engine as in the skodas and audis early golfs are 150 and the seats from the same period are 156 .

yes she runs on the stadard mangement but not very well lol
so i got the qpeng one which is easier to map as he has maps there so i send my ecu to him and he reflashes it to what ever turbo you have on it (as long as its vag) ko3,ko3s and ko4 .anything else i need to take car to him to find a suitable map.
