Thinking of taking plastic trim off?
« on: 22 February 2008, 19:01 »
Hi guys

was thinking of taking the black trim off my 1994 mk3.

but it has holes :(

Just wondering what you think i could fill the holes with and if this was a good idea?

i could imagine more noise  without em.

Cheers

a whole load of hassle tbh. colour-coding the trims might be a far easier and cheaper option?

Just leave them on. Colour code them if necessary but they look awful taken off. The recess behind them is far too deep

There are 'smooth' trims on fleabay right now. Buy some, get them painted & swap them with the textured ones.
