A K&N panel filter might suit you better then.

I bought one quite cheaply on Ebay I plan to at least try. I can always change to a panel filter later on.

I think they look great, actually I suppose the boss does look chunky from the side, I'd never noticed that until I just looked at this pic!!! When you are sat behind it you don't notice it at all and that's when it counts. They are great for spirited driving aswell.

It lets you breathe more easily......  :grin:   It doesn't restrict the air flow as much so on paper it should make the engine more responsive.

About £40 new i think. They're designed for life though, you just give them a clean every 6 months or so. (they actually reckon 20,000 miles but i just can't leave things alone!)

Thanks rubjonny, not looking so great close up on the hub. :sad:

As I've started this general thread I have another question: I quite fancy the Eibach Anti-roll bar kit; how easy to fit is it and how much difference to handling would it make fitted alongside a standard suspension setup? :smiley:
