H4 Bulbs, will they fit?
« on: 21 February 2008, 15:25 »
So i replace one of my headlights today, so now i have a shiny new one, and a slightly dull one.

So tomo im guna reaplce the other, as i care that much.

Looking on the gsf website they have these H4 bulbs.

Would they fit straight into my standard Gti Headlights does anyone know???

Part Number: 95914D

PAIR OSRAM SILVERSTAR H4

ANY CAR WITH H4 (472) BULBS

£12.99

Which bulbs do they replace, the dipped beam or the full beam?

Cheers mike

I think ...

sidelights are the little capless wedge 501's,

Headlights are H1
Fullbeams are H4 i think, could be H1 too im not sure...
Fogs are H3 I think!

Front indicator are the 581 flashers

Today i bought a standard dipped beam bulb, and it was a 488.... Maybe these are for the full beam?

Kenny 1.6 ...

How can you have H1 bulbs as you sideleights?

(the sidelights are tucked to the side of the full beam bulbs)
(seperating the H1 headlight in the large square part of the light... and the full beam lamp in the small circular part)???

Thats correct, the side light bulbs are tiny little things, and the other two are huge buggers. I had all mine out today, and none of them are the same......
