Sorry to see that happening to you ash, someone screw drivered my handle recently and its so annoying, how come these people never seem to get caught doing things like this ! There seems to have been a spate of peoples cars getting vandalised on here recently.

Like modultaor said above, people seem jealous of a much loved car in good nick. said it on other threads recently but these people need connecting to the national grid.

Just to agree with rich and vix, you've done a great job on that back panel, hope you can sort out the bonnet too. Good luck and don't let the b'stards stop you from enjoying your motor.

on the tt forum a guy on there woke up on new years day to find that a group of arseholes had run over the top of his roadster. fecked the bonnet/ boot/ and bent all the soft top frame and ripped the material, bring back public flogging

People just dont have any respect anymore for anything or anyone.... I think the kids are the worst for it.

I was driving my Mk3 Gti in black along the A66 in Middlesbrough when these two little girls both I would say under the age of 10 threw what looked like a car wing mirror at my rear quarter... I sh!t my self becasue of the noise but then anger took hold and I turned back round at the roundabout and if the little b!tches had of still been there I think I would have mounted the kirb at them... I got to my Boyfs work (funnily enuff a VW dealership hehehe he has his uses 20% discount   ) anyway I got out of the car and looked at my back quarter which was full of white scrapes so I thought is was scratches in the paintwork so I stormed into the garage to show Michael and broke a bloody nail on the door handle... I was not having a good afternoon.  Anyway turned out what ever they thru at my baby was white and it was just marks and not scratches and luckily it hadnt even dented  

At 10 years old my mum would have killed me for 1. going near a main road 2. throwing something at someones car.... but then again I was brought up not dragged up like these two little brats obviously were... Grrrrr!

Hope you can sort the bonnet out would be a shame to have to get it painted.

Try a night vision camera attached to your house pionting at your pride and joy have it rigged up to a video recorer and if it happens again (hopefully not) you can go out looking for the w@nkers give em a kicking then give the tape to the police. Just a thought anyway.
