Hurdy, you're wrong, as I said above:

cars with bi-xenon headlamps by law have to have a sensor on the rear axle, normally factory fitted, which auto levels the xenons when the car is heavily loaded, otherwise you blind oncoming traffic.

theres a huge thread on this from about a year ago, where someone was going to retro fit them, and TT blew them out of the water, as he does know the law.

Ahh, I see. So it is as much about the self levelling as the washers. First I've heard of this.

TT is a very succesful retired car mechanic/Engineer. He has a Golf GTi and also a RS4 (His pride and glory)

He is extremely knowledgeable and with almost anything car related can give an answer. You can Send him a email. His username is Teutonic Tamer or even email "The Doc". They are both extremely helpful although TT can be a bit crude and makes his point heard.  :lipsrsealed:
