I recently bought a mk gti cabby in heious blue and am about to start doing her up, just seeing into how much for a full respray and would really like to get hold of some big bumpers for her before I start.

:o I was shocked to find that a genuine pair were going to cost me over ?1000 new and I have failed to find anywhere that does replicas.

If anyone knows any where that would be a great help.

Cheers  :)

You could also try  "Volks-appart"

www.volks-apart.co.uk

- Have a look at the Good Guy's section on this site, has lots of places.

Hi Lynz - congrats on the purchase - good choice.
There is a company advertising a whole clipper set (including VR6 chin spoiler) for ?400 in the back of the Golf magazine - they are using new moulds, so they should be ok. I should imagine they would sell you a bumper, if thats all you need

What ever you do dont get a pattern one it will fit terribly and look naff.

As mentioned above the best place to try the is breakers.

Ebay does have bargains but most of the time the bids I find get to silly prices.

Good luck in your search.

seems like a really good price to me, providing it is in good condition, otherwise you will just be wasting your money.
