Whats the difference between 195 and 205?

i have 195 on the front and 205 on the back....both fit the std rims

had my new rims delivered today, they're fitted with 205/40/17......roll on the weekend to get them fitted......wanna buy my old ones Mikester incase you spin out again

the wider the tyre the more grip -more grip is always better what ever the tyre looks like.

id rather have a good quality tyre in 195 form which not only looks better but will also out perform a budget tyre in crappy 205 format which will cost more hahaha

thats what i was thinking as well you can get a good 195 50 15 for £40 a corner  ??

195's look alot better, and you can get a top spec for alot cheeper than a low spec 205 as i was saying before,

iv used 195's in the 90's alot when 15inch wheels were "the thing to have", i never had no problems with them, infact i think they are a great all rounder..

ebay for tyres and good ones toyo proxis 72 quid for 2 posted thats not expensive to me

that is a good price tbh...but im not a fan of toyo, but still, that is a good price posted....although you will have fitting on top of that..guessing that wont be much tho

Ok, well im guna get the 195s, and im sure i wont need ur rims becuasse i wont spin out again! lol.

Cheers for all the help, i was sure that eitehr would fit, and the smaller would look sexy, more of a stretched tight fit.

Go to KWIK FIT, today, walk into the office, and there is some a-hole that is banging up some1s rims fitting them, but never the less i carried on and gave them my online quote for 2 Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.

They said they dont stock them, basically to cut it short because they try and stock more cheap crap tyres to flog to people (like all the mugs standing in there, taht just ask for 2 tyres lol) So they have ordered them in for me to have them in tomo.

THEN he had the nerve to offer me at the SAME PRICE some awful tyres. Was not impressed. Im not a mug you foool!!!

So im guna clean up my rims (bought some wonder wheels) so they look minters tomo, and if he scratches them i will kill him!
