Its my understanding that they cannot identify a remap unless they actually put it on a rolling road and see obvious power gains, so maybe thats why they kept asking the question rather than establishing it for themselves.

If your remap is switchable, like a Revo, you would be wise to switch to Stock for any dealer sessions anyway. My dealer knows about my remap but I still switch to Stock so their work is more reliable.

I take mine in for its first service on Monday, I have the switchable Bluefin map on mine so will be switching to standard for the service so that any ECU updates go smoothly, hopefully when I get my car back I can re-install the map without any problems. Robin - have you had any problems with your revo map not being in 'sync' with the ECU after a service update? I'm concerned that if it does receive an update then it may not be as simple as just re-installing it...

....VW's update 24K6 gave some people problems. I didn't bother switching back after my 24K6 update and just went straight back to Revo who did the necessary (free of charge).

As I've already posted: Revo receive the updates direct from VW within days of the dealers getting them and so are able to produce solutions very quickly.
