I've just purchased a rear spoiler for my baby, comes primed too.  So I'll just need to get it sprayed diamond black   Does anyone know how easy it is the bolt one of these one?

Thin thay are bonded on
the bloke said you can bond or bolt it onto the car.  I'm happy to bond it on, if someone has a recommendation? :)

Ok guys, I've set myself a target, to try to get as close to 224bhp as I can get.  Is it going to be do-able without spending a huge fortune?

Well you see my dad's Mondeo ST is 224bhp.  I strongly believe that if I can get my Golf close to that, it'll actually be faster due to the extra weight of his car :)

That sounds like a great idea! Your Golf should always beat him on handling regardless of what mods you choose.

Don't forget to possibly upgrade your brakes... I put Black Diamond discs and Track pads on mine... Nice and grippy. Useful for my GTi which doesn't have ASR or ESP
