There's not many on eBay to be honest, bidding on one at the moment, few hours left, I'm up to £90!!! :(

all 2.0L come standard with these i think, haha finally we got something that u want, if i had one for sale on ebay id put a reserve of £250 on it :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin:

The one I got off E-bay was Sh1te and never did fit into my car properly  :angry:  Took bloody ages to fit the lower bracket on (needed to grind it down to fit the nuts on properly) then realised that the bracket was totally wrong in the first place....bit difficult to explain what I mean in words, but it looked like it needed a 'spacer'.... Long and short of it it's in a box in my loft :sick:

I'm hoping this one will be ok, it's come out of an old Golf, so had to fit in there properly the first time around :)

Was yours a cheap copy one then?? I know that thay are sh**

looked like it needed a 'spacer'.... Long and short of it it's in a box in my loft :sick: 

the genuine one does need a spacer, IIRC the 2 bolts on the drivers side screw straight in, but the passenger side is raised to allow for the hand brake cable.

basically the spacer has an internal and external thread, that secure the hand brake, and then raises the height for the other side of the arm rest mount.

I had to get one for mine, as the bloke i got it from left his spacer on the car the arm rest came from, £1.50 odd from the stealer's.
