is it an 8 valve or 16!

if its 16 then its bad news but if its an 8 v it wont have touched it! it happened on mine and after looking on a technical webpage it said that 8 valves arnt damaged if the belt snaps!

and mine runs perfect!

Super f*kin sweet...hurrah it's an 8 VALVE!!!!  

The dude who does our cars is super reasonable on price, so hopefully it won't be too much of a problem

Unfortunately I still reckon there is going to be some damage as not nice when a cambelt goes. Had it happen on another motor and was cheaper to get new head as it had bent 6 valves and snapped the cam :'(

oh dear speedy hope what they say is correct and the valves dont touch the pistons, if so wont be a dear do, just a new timing belt and setting up!!
