Wheel reconditioning?
« on: 02 April 2004, 14:48 »
Anybody know where I could get my alloys sorted out? had a bit of an accident at lunch and took a big chunk out of my tyre and a chunk out of my wheel.  Already ordered a new tyre but don't know where I could get my wheels sorted out.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Im in the West Yorkshire area if that's any help.

Thanks in advance

Ian

Try a yell.com search as I'm sure it will come up with a few decent places in your area.

Spit & polish in Dartford if they are still around, know its miles from you but they do offer a reasonably priced courier service and do do a good job for not much beans
Me old diesel was quick/........

Now running around in soon to be REVO'd Seat ibiza 1.8T 20v FR and missing the fuel economy..............

spit snd polish are still around - www.spitandpolish.co.uk not in Dartford, in Tonbridge, but worth giving them a call as loads of tyre places act as their agents so you just drop your wheels in to the tyre shop. failing that if you make it to tonbridge, if you get there at 7.30am they'll do all your wheels in a day so you can pick your car up at 5.30pm.  15inch bbs RAs are 42.50 a wheel+vat.
