N75-J valve

i have seen some one list a N75-J valve as a mod in the list your mods section, just wonderd what it was. is it to do with letting the boost pressure the the waste gate actuator.

The N75J is part of the system that determines how much boost is held by the diverter valve. Often when you add a chip to a 1.8t powered VW, the increased boost needs a little more control to be smooth. The N75J not only lets the boost peak a little higher, but it also helps get rid of surging.

I researched these valves a while back & the conclusion was about 50/50 to whether there was a gian or loss.  There was also a lot of talk about which valve was best for which engine code (there's the N75H/G/F as well).  In the end I decided to leave it.......
