Good Deal?
« on: 18 February 2008, 18:07 »
Ok i may have found a car!

What do you think to this?

2002 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 1.9 GT TDI 130 5dr Diesel Hatchback

Blue (though i did want silver)
Manual
79,000 miles
Cruise control
Rear GTI spoiler
Full stainless steel exhaust
Koni full suspension
312mm big brake conversion
VW anniversary front and rear valance
Golf R32 18" Alloy wheels
Rain sensitive wipers, auto dimming rear view mirror and electric operated and heated wing mirrors.
Apparently no wear and tear at all on the car and body work is in very good condition.

Also the car will be serviced before it is sold.

How much do you think its worth?

Thanks,

CS

sounds like a nice car but, if you wanted silver then i'd say wait and keep looking

I had 3 colours in mind, silver then blue or black so its not a colour that wasn't on my list.

What would you pay?

no more than 6K i'd say; dont' forget as nice as the mods are they don't actually add any great value to the car.

how much is it up for??

and if its Indigo Blue then its the best and fastest colour

hard to say with all those mods, the owner has clearly spend a fair bit on it, say £500 on the rims (assuming replicas), rain-tronic, exhaust etc

you would have to say no more than £6K as at the end of the day its still a TDI 130 with 80K on the clock, so around £6K any more and you have to think if you want those mods or not.
