ha ha, i love all the idiots that say they look gay, and don't do it, it ruins the look of the car.

I mean what the f**k, they ain't there to look good, they are there to perform a function. Humm.... protect the paint of don't i know which i would prefer.

Fair comment, if you have a bonnet worth protecting (IE brand new paint job) but with a bonnet that's rusting as is ryangti's I wouldn't bother until it's been resprayed or replaced.

At least get a colour coded one, so that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb! (red car/black car bra)

I am deffo gona get one!

I am looking to get the bonnet resprayed and doing motorway miles daily to work, it would definitely serve a purpose!

Then on the weekends, take the bra off her and enjoy the sight (sad pun intended)

Heres mine - its not to look good just to simply protect the respray to the front! although think its looks ok, dont run it all of the time, just when i'm goin to work and back, take it off at weekends/days off as it gets water underneath in bad weather! worth it if you have decent paintwork and wanna keep it that way!

its an autobra one, not sure about the deflectors on it though? saw a mk2 with one like the pic off ebay at dufreeze and it looked and fitted better although didnt protect as much area - hope that helps!

My ten pence worth...

I'm in the same boat as Slick... If you "need" them, they're fine, but if its for cosmetic reasons, thats a bit too ripseed for me.

Protect the paint
Why not also put plastic sheeting all over your seats pensioner-style to keep them pristine too?
