We used to use 106 in our race car, and run the engines in on aviation fuel.

We used to run our tractor racers (a bit different i know) on go-kart fuel, mmm methanol!! smelt pretty funky and i dont think the little 20 year old 10hp engines liked it very much, especially as they were revved using the governor (i.e. more than twice their designed rpm... for prolonged periods!)

ha yes ive got a grass cutter at work similar to the red one. where is the guvoner. been meaning to change the carb and play around with it for a while.
any sugestions komenda

governor is a little lever on the side of the engine (usually) around the carb area. it has a spring mounted on it. pull it away from the spring and here the b!tch squeal!
