I imagine you'll have to re-mortagage your house to fill a tank with it, but still, it's interesting to see that 102 RON fuel is available on a forecourt

It's really motorsport only as alledgedly it's to F1 spec (I sh!t you not!).

Yup, i read that. F1 spec, only in summer though. In winter the atmospherics change it out of the regs. Still useable for other sports though.

I wonder how much it is..?

I seem to recall reading somewhere it's £2.50 a litre or something equally bonkers.

thought v power was 98 ron? most other "super" unleaded pumps are 97 ron.

 they were talking of using tesco 99 as thats the closest you can use

its 99ron you were right!

i dont think theyve changed the stickers on my local forecourt (from the days of optimax @ 98ron)

not sure why they wont let you run it in the golfgti championship, if the limit is no higher than 99ron.

We used to use 106 in our race car, and run the engines in on aviation fuel.
