Just spent the afternoon fitting mk4 headlights and debadged grill. Was wondering what everyone thought, excuse the pics done on a camera phone so i will get some better ones for you soon...




Next thing for the front is clear indicators and fog to match..

I like the lights but i prefer them with a standard badged grill... especially if its a 16v...

asfor the bottom lights.. i like them as they are, as theyr already clear...
although i think i slightly prefer my anniversary titned ones!

going to put the red anni GTi badge on the front, think that will mkae it look better.

dont see why people put a debaged grill on then put a badge back on it.... daft!!  to me if i was gonna de badge id remove every badge on the car, front, rear and side...

prefere standard grill on mk 3's anyhow with the VW badge in either oe silver or black

i've put a debadge grill on and refitted the red badge...otherwise it will be too black at the front..alltho i am looking for a badged grill again! (black vw badge this time!) i put the debadge on as the original was snapped in two and held together with tape!

Cheers for the opinions pepz. I bought the red GTi badge to replace the tatty silver one that i had on there on the bagded grill, this is when i decided that maybe the de'VW'badged grill may look ok. Thought i would give it a go. Pictures don't do it that much justice tho, looks much better in the flesh.
