Hmmmm strange for just one side not to work. Are you doubly sure you connected the plug correctly and it's seated all the way in?

yer never took the plug out just squeezed the two sides together and the whole rear bulb holder came out.. cant work out why its stopped working. and after all that broke the handle on my glovebox so had to open it with a screwdriver  :embarassed: :sick:thought german cars were surposed to be good build quailty

Very strange. It can't be a fuse otherwise the other side wouldn't be working so it has to be a problem towards the back of the car. I can't remember if all the light loom goes back through the passenger side then crosses over onto the drivers side so it could be worth checking out. Best thing to do is pull both bulb holders out and see if the drivers side one works on the passenger side plug

you know the mk5 guys will get upset!!..... i can't post in there as i cause debate and wind them up!!... i should start a new thread "why's my dash feel like it's made from cheap recycled pvc" or "how many times have you being back to the dealer for warrantly work due to the build quality"..i could do a poll for that too

i didn't want to upset the little rich boys too much... but i said the best thing about my mk5 was that it was a mk3... was just enjoying putting the cat among the pigeons a bit!

standard boring response came back about it being a boat but seeing as I have coilies on mine that don't apply!
