Mk2 1.6 to a Mk3 1.4/1.6

hi,

Now I have the mk2 GTI I have been thinking of selling my 1.6 mk2 driver and buying a mk3 1.4 or 1.6 golf or vento ... for the low and slow look and and for the comfort  not really bothered about the speed just want something with leccy windows etc. Also had a look on the insurance and the mk3 is cheaper. Does this sound like a good plan? or will I regret selling the 1.6 driver?

yeah get a mk3...loads of mk2 owners are doing this now and most seem to like them
you will need a 1.4se (gti body styling)or 1.6gl model for electrics tho.. or look for a 1.8driver for gti trim or a 1.8se for gti archs etc
