Normaly 5-6 years so not far off. Looks like they have already started with free option so would guess they are run out models.

Gti mk6 is due, late 2009.

It's due early/late 2009 (depending on what source you believe) although some claim it's due as early as Q4 08.

The pictures you posted wont be the GTi. That looks more like a Golf.
