Hi all, Mk4 newbie here! I used to be in the Mk3 forum yonks ago!

I picked up this 1999 1.8Gti t recently, it's done 127k it's got a few minor scabs on the drivers door that need sorting and a few pinhead dents too, and the wheels are a bit scabby (not sure how I feel about them anyway yet), but overall not bad at all! It's got the full recaro interior (airbags in the seats, is that normal?) and there's not masses of wear on the drivers seat either (yet) !!

The previous owner was a woman who worked for VW so whatever it needed it had, and just before I bought it, it had a service, Air Mass Meter, Temp sensors, set of Tyres and a battery!

I've had it a couple of months now but not had chance to use it much until now and I have to say i'm really impressed with how it goes, the only things I can see that I need to look at are the rear brakes are sticking on when i've left it standing for a while, and it sounds as though it's developing a blow from the exhaust at the front end somewhere, so i'll get under it over the next few days!

Currently : 1999 MK4 1.8t Gti AGU 5 Door In Black, Pipercross Panel Filter, Full Milltek De-cat system, 4mo rear valance.
Previous Dubs : 66 Splitty, 55 Oval Beetle, 68 Beetle, 69 Beetle, 71 Beetle, Mk1 Scirocco, T25 Camper, 89 Golf Synchro 4x4, 91 Golf Driver, MK3 8V Golf Gti.
