That colour grew on me too.

I honestly think you need a 1.8T as they are very nice and quick when you need it :)

As said really go for 1.8T- Get an insurance quote you might well be suprised  :wink:

trying not to waste money myself on the mk3 saving for a 1.8T 20v mk4

just did that and i am surprised  !!

when i got my 18t it was 20 quid dearer than my mk3 8 v i was well happy lol

from what I can tell my 2.0 16v is a higher group than the MK4 1.8t so insurance shoould be no problem.

What are they like for reliability, always been a bit put off, whats a Turbo cost to replace?

£2500 is a little tight imo.

Id save up about £3.5 at least! Preferably £4 - 4.5 (thats just me tho).

And silver is the best colour (thats not just me, thats fact).
