dont use wd40 as its got silcone it and it will react with the paint -brake cleaner is the the best

mk3 golf 1.8t ,280mm front brakes rear disc conversion,coillies.

i just used a wire brush and then a damp cloth to get the dust off. Dont wnt to start lubbing your brakes!

AS for mixing the hamerite, once sum dust gets on them, they wont be perfect, so i wouldnt worry.

so saul, did you just use standard paint or heat resistant? I wont be using the WD40 then, i try and use that sh!t for everything!

just use hammerite mate, they do a green metalic which is very similar to dragon green

Wire brush, damp clothe, few coats of hamerite, dont even need to take them off, just mask the discs a bit and use a SMALL brush. lol

yes i did mate ,i also primed them white 1st

I never primed mine...... Might do mine again soon :/
