well chrissy, think im gonna have to buy one and do my bit too!!  what's better, full leather or part leather? how well does it wear? They don't do cloth do they? (not that i'd have it on an r32). Atm, my anni is about £55 to fill up and doesn't do 300 miles on that so not a lot different although 235 miles is pretty crap lol!!

With mine being a MK5 its full leather anyway. You can spec a mk5 32 with cloth but they are few and far between. But apart from the recaros you can get in the mk5,the mk4 seats look amazing.
Mind you it costs £300 a year for road tax mind!!!!
I just put six months on mine but that was £165!!!!
Still they can tax me all day long it wont stop me having performance cars ever!!

is there a lot of difference in the way of performance between the mk4 and 5?if ive gotta wait 6 months - 1 year then the 5's will have come down in price so a 5 could be an option. £300 is a lot lol thought mine was quite bad!

To be honest, I don't know all this tax band bull***t has made any difference to anyone in the way of what cars they buy. I know I wouldn't not buy an R32 cos it has a £300 tax disc!!Dunno if anyone else has been deterred from a car by it's tax price??

Jon

ps the full leather is looking and sounding very nice

i think the main advantage is going to be the better chassis as the MK5 is fully independent, however go anywhere near the MK5 section and all you'll see is how the ED30 is better than the R32 (MK5)

personally i'd go for the MK4 though as the shape is much nicer IMO

Aesthetics (interior & exterior) - Mk4 R32 wins  (I agree)
