I could really stick my neck out on the line here and say that all the cars are qually well built, in respect of the type of car.

ie: the 1.4 is well built, given the type of engine it has, the power, need to brakes etc etc.  The 1.8T again is better specced mechanically than the 1.4, but only because it needs to be to cope with the power and all, and then the R32 follows on accordingly.

But then thats probably just me being pedantic about it!

End of the day, I guess if i had the money not to worry about the running costs, of course i would have an R32 - who are we kidding here!  But then if money was no object....991 GT3 anyone?  :evil:

Just a few figures for you to think about.....

2000 2.8 V6 4motion

29 Yr old, clean licence standard car, circa 6k miles per annum (the rest on my fireblade) [5yrs NCD] - £370 fully comp

98/99 RON @ 230 miles for full tank - £70 every two and half weeks (london prices)

I can afford the above, but cant keep justifying to the missis that I need the 4mo and the fireblade

The R32 was going to be the next step for me, but be prepared to have your wallett/purse/satchel ready!

Stick with the anni

(seriously, considering Derv, seriously)

Ps. 0-60 on the blade is around 3 seconds!

As suggested re Audi a3. It may have the same engine, but look at the R32!It's looks so much better  :cool:. I'm struggling to find a proper reason not to buy R32 although I thank you for your comments and guidance and welcome any more suggestions.
My Anni is thirsty already (25-30 mpg on a good day) and around 20ish+ on a normal day and my style of driving isn't gonna change regardless of geting an R32 or not, therefore petrol not being too much of an issue - how uneconomical can an R32 be? Also i'm not gonna have to put too much more money in to get an R32. Am I mad?!?!
