Colour coding GTI rear bumper
« on: 13 February 2008, 13:46 »
I'd love to get the upper part of the black plastic section of the rear bumper (spolier I think it's called) colour coded, but scared to death it won't be a good job and will peel or chip easily.
The local VW dealer will do it but won't guarantee the work.

I know it's a long shot but has anyone had this done in the Southend (Essex) area and of course been pleased with the work / got a warranty?

Also, whats the view on stone chips on the leading edges just behind the back wheels?  I wondered whether some of that anti-chip film would do the job, anyone done anything like this?

Cheers

if you get it done at a good body shop there should be no problem at all, they have all the correct plastic primers and paints!
