I keep hearing stories like this :

"I have been told by the dealer that you need to remove the rear spoiler, with a cheese wire, get a new spoiler, paint it, fit a new light and stick it back on the car"

Sounds like a design nightmare  :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Looks like you DO have to remove the whole spoiler and glue it back on    :sad: :sad: :sad: :     not sure about the NEW spoiler bit though

Scarily, my high level brake light has a load of moisture in it which VW will look at during the service. Not so keen if they have to remove the whole thing...
