Basically they MAY give as much as 5bhp! They are supposed to make the power smoother etc.
You can get same bhp increase with a filter and CAT back exhaust. Yes I know those two are a lot dearer than the Blitz/Power chip but if you want to tune further you will need those two anyway!

I thought they basically allow more fuel into the engine or something?
Can't remember off the top of my head  :sad:

actualy i was thinking that on top of other mods, i mean if its gunna do the same as those resistors and mess things up its not worth it,  but if its a genuine upgrade chip i would think about it for the price
10 golfs and counting! 

Engine cranes = the ultimate tool to test the tensile strength of Everything you didn't disconnect!

I cant say the soldering worries me, i have been soldering for years!  but £40 for 6HP??  thats a diffrent matter LOL
