the patches have been welded up  :smiley: i think thats all the rust sorted on the shell now

i read somewhere that if you put a copper behind a hole bigger than should be welded it won't stick to the weld. well, its not true  :grin: well at least the value of the car has gone up by 2p

If you just want it blown over afterwards might be worth getting chris down to do it for ya. I'm sure he would be up for it.

Which reminds me, if you're not working sunday he's racing at Combe in the Mini. 2 races for him plus lots of other cool stuff on track. If you want to go there's room in the Polo of doom and no need for diesel money.

Primer is not waterproof though so you might want to slap on some black halfords special paint.
