ah that explains it, i'll dig out my left handed socket set to fit them

just realised they weren't the final weights, i got the front a bit better and the rear a bit worse  final weights -

297              324

155              191

it would be nice to have another go getting them better but it won't be before the trackday on friday. today was more of a learning exercise, its not easy!

Had an awesome day today at brands testing out the car with its added stiffness. There were loads of golfs there, which was nice!

The gear rod snapped again  but i whipped it off and took it to a local welder and was back out an hour later. Think i need to get a new one now or replace a section of it with some beefier tubing as its cracking further down each time and barely goes through the bush now because of all the weld. This is the 4th repair on it

The exhaust also started blowing really bad early on and the cabin was a bit fumey, so if i don't post here in the next week i have died of carbon monoxide poisoning

The car felt great other than that and the springs just not being suitable anymore. They are far too soft for the chassis and are progressive which is good for the road but sh!t for track. The shell stiffening was noticeable though and apparently I was cocking a wheel through druids and clearways

No photo's as the raw action photography guy wasn't there, but i have some video footage ill upload shortly

Good video. Did you see our 'worn' tyre that was causing some vibration issues?
